Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit

The centerpiece of The Pier 60 Sugar Sand Festival is the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit inside a spectacular 21,000 square-foot tent.

Hours (April 13-21): 10AM-10PM, April 22: 10AM-9PM

The Sculptors don’t use molds! Everything is handcrafted using utility tools, baking tools, brushes, and even dentist tools. “Team Sandtastic” will be on site throughout the festival adding finishing touches to the exhibit,
teaching free sand sculpting workshops, and performing speed sand demonstrations. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Each year the theme of the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit changes, so you’ll never see the same sculpture twice!

Watch the Master Sand Sculpting Competition

The Master Sand Sculpting Competition takes place inside the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit. Seven master sculptors will create their own artistic piece in addition to the main sculptures. This is a rare chance for visitors to watch the art of sand sculpting
in action!

Your Change Helps Create Change

Guests will select the winner of the $7,000 Master Sand Sculpting Competition cash prize. Vote for your favorite sculpture by donating cash or small change. The sculptor who raises the most money wins the competition. Every penny counts! All of the
proceeds collected will be donated to Sandy Lane Elementary School in Clearwater.
